Casablanca - Said Bounowar
The Moroccan government has condemned verbal attacks by opposition politicians on its ministers during International Workers' Day celebrations.
Hamid Chabat, Secretary-General of Morocco’s conservative Istiklal party criticised several government ministers at a meeting of the government council on Monday evening.
According to reports, Chabat launched a scathing attack on a former government minister, accusing him of being drunk in parliament.
The claim is likely to a lead to a verbal response from government ministers and newspapers loyal to the ruling regime, over the next few days.
