The Egyptian Armed Forces issued an official statement stating that early Monday morning, an armed ?terrorist group attempted to storm the Republic Guard House in Salah Salem Street, Nasr ?city, Cairo, assaulting security forces and civil police.? The statement said that the incident led to the killing of an officer, and the injury of a number ?of soldiers. Six are in serious condition and were taken to the military hospital for treatment.? Armed forces arrested 200 people in possession of guns, ?ammunition, white weapons and Molotov bottles.
