Beirut - Georges Chahine
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is expected to visit Beirut on July 2, after accepting the invitation of his Lebanese counterpart Michel Sleiman, Arab Today understands.
Abbas will meet several senior Lebanese officials during his trip, including the Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati, and Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri.
Discussion topics will include Palestinian-Lebanese relations, along with issues related to the recent developments in the Middle East. Abbas will also hold talks with opposition politicians and spiritual leaders.
