Spokesman for South Sudan Embassy in Khartoum, Gabriel Deng, announced that South Sudan\'s Vice President, Dr Riek Machar will arrive to Khartoum on Sunday morning on board a private flight. He will be accompanied by Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources, Paul Mayom Akec, Minister of Petroleum and Mining, Stephen Dhieu Dau, Deputy Interior Minister Salva Mathok Gengdit and Head of Sudan and International Cooperation Department in the Foreign Ministry, Mostafa Loueyla. Gabriel revealed to Arab Today that the delegation also includes a number of experts, technicians and a media delegation of South Sudan. He added that the visit\'s atmosphere is good, revealing that Machar will have several important meetings in Khartoum, and expects to meet Sudanese President Omar al Bashir. Deng said that agreements between the two are \"greatly advancing\" and are expected to witness \"positive developments in the coming period.\" Gabriel insisted on the importance of the political good will, and said the visit of the vice president indicates that his country has the \"required political will to apply the agreements and build strong relationships with Sudan based on common interests and benefits and mutual respect.\"
