Ansar Al Sharia, the main arm of Al Qaeda in Yemen, claimed on Friday responsibility for killing 20 militants of Houthi group north of the capital Sanaa.
The group said on Twitter that six of its members laid an ambush for a Houthis convoy carrying military equipment in Arhab district.
The convoy was targeted by two explosive devices which killed 20 Houthi fighters, the group added.
