Iraqi security forces arrested Friday the military leader of al-Qaeda in Falluja, west of Baghdad. A security official said that al-Qaeda military and security leader has been busted in the Anbar provice city of Falluja. The suspect confessed during the investigation that his group assassinated 24 police officers in the city and destroyed some of their homes. Earlier in the day, nine police and army elements and civilians were killed and injured when a booby-trapped car detonated targeting a police check point in Ramadi. Source: MENA
