The Ezz ad Din al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Hamas movement, have claimed responsibility for killing an Israeli settler near the settlement of Dolev near Ramallah yesterday.

The shooting occurred when two settlers were driving a car near Ramallah yesterday. One was killed and the other was injured.

A statement by the group said that the incident came in response to Israel's criminal attacks, including the killing of a number of Palestinians.
