H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, today received a group of Muslim scholars who are in the UAE at the at the invitation of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

As an annual tradition, scholars come to the UAE to preach and deliver lectures in the UAE throughout the holy month of Ramadan. The programme is carried out by the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments and the Ministry of Presidential Affairs.

During the meeting, which took place at Madinat Saqr bin Mohammed, he exchanged greetings with the guests on the advent of Ramadan H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras al-Khaimah, and a number of officials attended the meeting.

They all prayed to Allah Almighty to keep H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed in good health, bless the UAE, Arab and Muslim Nations with continued progress and the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan with mercy in Paradise.

Later, H.H. Sheikh Saud hosted an iftar banquet in honour of the guest scholars.
