Russian jets have launched 18 attacks inside Syria over the last 24 hours, according to the country's official news agency, despite international concerns about the military campaign, the CNN reported.

The Tass news agency reported that Russia had "conducted 18 sorties against 12 facilities of the the so-called Daesh terrorist group," quoting Igor Konashenkov, the spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry as having said.

But international officials and some people inside Syria doubt that Russia is limiting its attacks to Daesh.
