Swiss authorities have approved a special law, paving the way for the return of 700 million francs after it was smuggled by officials of the former Egyptian regime, prosecution sources said. Kamel Guirguis, head of the Public Prosecution International Cooperation Office, announced at a press conference that negotiations had resulted in the historic deal. An Egyptian judicial delegation reportedly travelled to Switzerland to discuss the handover.
