The Egyptian Trade Union Federation (ETUF) called Saturday on the United Nations to provide protection for Egyptian workers in Libya after the killing of 21 Egyptians by Daesh.
In a cable sent to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, the ETUF head Gebaly el Maraghy called for a forming a fact-finding committee to investigate the mass killings and a swift action to secure a safe departure of the Egyptian workers in the war-ravaged country.
