The US-led alliance pounded sites affiliated to Daesh terrorist group in Sharqat in Saladin Province and killed 5 of its members.

Daesh, meanwhile, executed 19 Iraqis in Anbar province.

The US-led alliance started bombing Daesh targets in Syria in September as part of a strategy aimed at rolling back the group’s territorial gains in Syria and Iraq.

Clashes between Iraqi forces and the militant group have also been ongoing since June 2014 when the armed group seized Mosul and other territories in Iraq.
