The US-led alliance carried out air raid Thursday against Daesh group and killed eight terrorists in the town of Makhmour in northwest of Iraq.
The US-led alliance started bombing Daesh targets in Syria last September as part of a strategy aimed at rolling back the group’s territorial gains in Syria and Iraq.
Clashes between Iraqi forces and the militant group have also been ongoing since June 2014 when the armed group seized Mosul and other territories in Iraq.
