A Yemeni court has acquitted two Egyptians accused of being members of al-Qaeda, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said. The two men were found innocent by a specialised terrorism court on Saturday. Sources said the Egyptian embassy in Sanaa had assisted with protecting the defendants’ legal rights until the ruling.
