Yemeni authorities have secured the release of 150 fuel tankers seized by armed tribesmen. The tankers were stopped from entering capital Sanaa, leading to fears of a fuel crisis. A security source told Arab Today that security forces had been able to release the tankers which cut off oil supplies from Sanaa. The incident coincided with rumours that the government would increase fuel prices. However, a senior official from Yemen\'s Oil Product Distribution Company has denied the reports. Mansour Ali al-Batani said that the oil crisis would be resolved very soon, and that increasing prices was not an option.
