A total of 15 members of the outlawed Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) were killed in clashes with the security forces in southeastern Turkey late Tuesday, local media reported Wednesday. The PKK militants cut the road between Ruzgarli and Baglar villages in Semdinli town of Hakkari province two days ago, said the report, adding that the Turkish military dispatched helicopters to fight against the PKK members Tuesday night. The clashes lasted for about two hours, killing 15 PKK members and wounding three Turkish soldiers.
