Two projectiles fired from Gaza exploded in southern Israel on Sunday morning, one just south of Ashkelon and the other in the Eshkol Regional Council. The two rockets exploded in open fields causing no casualties or damages, Israeli daily (The Jerusalem Post) reported, citing the Army Radio. At the same time, red-alert sirens were sounded in Ashdod and the surrounding areas. Over 100 rockets and mortar shells were fired at Israel this past weekend.
