Three children died in a Ramallah village on Wednesday after getting trapped in a disused commercial refrigerator, a local official said. Municipality head Riziq Nofal told Ma\'an that the bodies of three children were found at the time of evening prayers, after their families had alerted villagers in Ras Karkar that they were missing. Omar Musa Fakhida, 3, Muhannad Mahmoud Fakhida, 5, and Muhannad Shadi Fakhida, 6, were trapped in the refrigerator, which was switched off at the time, while playing in the area and could not open it from the inside. The village is in mourning over the deaths, Nofal told Ma\'an. Ras Karkar has no parks or public facilities where children are able to play, he added.
