Three Palestinians suffered injuries with Israeli tank fire that targeted region of Al-Shujaieh east of Gaza city on Thursday, medical sources said. The sources told KUNA an advancing Israeli force, led by tanks, fired two shells in the direction of a mini-van on Al-Nezar Street, hitting the vehicle directly and setting it alight. Three of its occupants were wounded and had to be hospitalized. Condition of one of the wounded was described as serious, the sources said, adding the two others sustained medium wounds. The Israeli force, including 10 tanks and a bulldozer, advanced into the heart of the area, amid a hail of gunfire showering nearby houses and properties. The force started bulldozing cultivated fields in the region.
