Thirty agreements will be signed between Cairo and Paris during French President François Hollande's visit of Egypt next Sunday, French Ambassador here Andre Parant said.
Speaking to reporters Sunday, Parant said a delegation of representatives of 60 French companies will accompany Hollande during the visit.
Economic agreements will be signed between the two governments to promote cooperation in several sectors in addition to funding agreements through the French Development Agency (AFD), the French envoy said.
Hollande will make time to visit tourist and cultural sites in Cairo, he said, adding that the agreements will cover the culture, energy, transport, vocational training, renewable energy, tourism and heritage preservation.
The annual volume of trade exchange between Egypt and France hit 2.2 billion euros, he said. France is Egypt’s sixth largest importer.
