Argentina and China agreed to start drafting a joint Action Plan to guide and coordinate bilateral cooperation in the next five years. The decision was announced Tuesday in a joint statement issued at the conclusion of the three-day visit by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao to Argentina. The perceived Joint Action Plan will draw the path of cooperation between the two countries from 2013 to 2017 and will cover the areas and projects of bilateral cooperation as well as existing projects that are considered priorities, according to the statement. The two sides agreed to intensify high-level contacts and strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the governments, legislatures and political parties to consolidate mutual strategic and political trust.
