Mattar Salim Ali Al Dhaihiri, Assistant Under-Secretary of Ministry of Defence for Policy and Strategic Affairs has received, in his office at the Ministry of Defence, US Senator Joe Donnelly and a number of members of the US Congress.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways of strengthening them to contribute to achieving the common interests between the two countries.

The two sides also reviewed a number of issues of mutual concern and the latest developments in the region.

The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers of the Ministry of Defence.
