Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) Ban Ki-moon is due to start an official two-day visit to Malaysia later on Wednesday to meet with senior officials to discuss mutual cooperation at various levels. He would meet Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Abdulrazzak, besides the ministers of foreign and health affairs. A statement by the office of the general coordinator of UN activities in Malaysia said that this is the first visit for Ban Ki-moon to the country, during which he will meet representatives of a number of UN organizations, including United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and United Nations Children's Fund.
