President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region Massoud Barzani has received a phone call from US Vice President Joe Biden.

    According to a statement issued by the Kurdish Presidency, the two sides discussed during the phone conversation last night the latest situation and political developments in the Iraq.

    The statement added that the two sides also discussed the reform and joint cooperation project between the two sides to achieve stability and address the political project.

    Barzani met yesterday with US Special Presidential Envoy for Global Counter-ISIS Coalition Brett McGurk and discussed with him the current political crisis and ways to solve them.
