The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) member Subramanian Swamy on Monday joined party colleague Maheish Girri in a hunger strike outside Arvind Kejriwal’s home in Delhi, saying that “after Raghuram Rajan”, he will now focus on exposing the chief minister.
“All his life he (Kejriwal) has done fraud. He says he was a meritorious student, but I have records of how he got his admission.
Maheish Girri, a BJP lawmaker from Delhi, has been on a protest since Sunday as he wants the Kejriwal to apologise for accusing him of a role in the recent murder of an official of the civic body New Delhi Municipal Council.
“Question me if needed, arrest me if required,” said Girri, who has challenged Kejriwal to an open debate.
Kejriwal had earlier accused Lit. Gov. Najeeb Jung of trying to protect Girri, who, he said, has links with the man arrested for the murder.
Swamy said he and Girri would not end their strike unless Kejriwal apologises or resigns.
