Beijing - RT
Beijing will try to talk Pyongyang out of its planned launching of a long-range missile, expressing \"deep concern\" that the move could jeopardize peace in the region and hamper efforts to resume six-party nuclear talks, a Chinese official said, according to Yonhap news agency. Meanwhile, South Korea has warned that it might shoot down the North Korean rocket if it strays into South Korean territory. The comments come as some 50 world leaders gather in Seoul on Monday for the Nuclear Security Summit. Earlier this month Pyongyang announced plans to send a satellite into space aboard a long-range rocket. It claims the launch is part of its peaceful space program.
