Minister of Civil Aviation Sherif Fathy met with members of the Russian security delegation ahead of leaving Cairo, wrapping up a two-day visit to Egypt.

The Russian delegation, comprising five persons, hailed the security measures taken in Terminal 2 at Cairo International Airport, the Ministry of Civil Aviation said in a statement Thursday.

What has been agreed on with the Russian side is that there would be exchanging visits between Cairo and Moscow during January 2017 in order to complete the measures to resume flights between the two countries, the minister said after the meeting.
