The Syrian regular forces and the pro-regime militias of thugs on Wednesday killed 140 people mainly in Hama Governorate almost half of whom are women and children, according to the opposition Local Coordination Committees (LCCs). The victims include 78 persons who were massacred in a shelling by the government forces on Al-Qobair village in the northern governorate. The deaths include 35 from one family who were brutally gunned down or stabbed to death by the thugs. Scores of victims fell in the northwestern city of Latakia, the northern city of Idlib, the central city of Homs, and the southern cities of Deir Al-Zour and Daraa as well Damascus outskirts, the LCCs added.
