The Egyptian European Business Council on Tuesday hailed China’s stance encouraging Chinese tourists to visit Egypt.
China considers Egypt one of the world's favorable tourism destination, Council Chairman Mohamed Abul Enein said in a statement on Tuesday.
He expected the Egyptian tourism season will recover this winter.
By the end of this year, the number of Egypt-bound Chinese tourists is expected to hit 400,000, the statement added.
Abul Enein called on the tourism minister, officials and tour operators to visit China, promote tourism destinations in Egypt and sign a number of agreements to this end.
