Two homemade bombs went off last night in a government girls school in northwest Pakistan, Pakistani police reported today. Police said the two bombs exploded in Swabi city causing partial damage to the building, adding that they began investigation into the incident which did not cause loss of life. Three girls schools had been attacked on December 28 last year, also in northwest Pakistan, largely due to the presence of elements opposed to girls education which from time to time explode bombs and destroy schools and colleges to scare girls from continuing their studies..
