Army Command General Directorate issued the following communiqu "Army units in conjunction with Helicopter affiliated with Lebanese air-forces and in cooperation with Civil Defense members extinguished fires that broke-out on Thursday (18/8 /2011) in the vicinities of the following villages: Kfartebnite, Houla, Taifelsay, Chhour, Arzoun, Dardaghia and Msaileh in the South; Daya in Mount Lebanon; Kfarhazir and Chouilite in the North; Toutiyeh and Chtaura in Al-Bekaa. The devastated areas were estimated by 582 acres of forest and fruitful trees and dry grass."
