Fouriesburg was quiet on Wednesday morning after violent protests erupted earlier in the week, Free State police said. \"Nothing was reported since Tuesday but we will continue monitoring the area until we are satisfied that protests won\'t start again,\" Sergeant Majang Skalkie said. A woman was killed and 110 people were arrested after public violence in Fouriesburg on Monday and Tuesday. Most of those arrested had been looting shops. \"The 110 people that were arrested will appear in the Fouriesburg Magistrate\'s Court Thursday on charges of public violence.\"
