A French activist was injured after Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters and sound grenades in the old city of Hebron yesterday. The Israeli soldiers opened fired in the al-Laban market as clashes broke out between Israeli forces and Palestinians, injuring a French citizen in her shoulder, witnesses told Palestinian news agency (Ma'an). The Israeli forces closed all entrances to the old city. Around 800 Jewish settlers live in Hebron's Old City, among 30,000 Palestinians in the parts of the ancient city that are under Israeli control.
