The Free Syrian Army (FSA) has managed to control Ghassan Abboud in Deir Al-Zour in northeast Syria following a gunfight with Syrian regular soldiers, Local Coordination Committees said. Huge explosions were heard in Al-Joura neighborhood in Deir Al-Zour and several other areas, they said. Meanwhile, the death toll of attacks by pro-regime forces on peaceful protesters and demonstrators has risen to 32, including four children, they added. Protests are still happening in Dera, Aleppo, Idelb,, Hama, Hems and Damascus amid intensive security deployment at the entries and exits of the cities, they pointed out. Violent clashes are occurring between regular troops and the FSA in several Syrian cities, as a UN team is now visiting Syria to assess the volatile situation after one year of unrest
