A rocket fired from the Gaza Strip into southern Israel landed in the Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council area on Friday morning, 'The Jerusalem Post' reported. No injuries or damage were recorded in the attack, according to the Israeli newspaper. A red alert rocket warning siren sounded in Sderot prior to the landing of the rocket.
