Doha - QNA
The children of Gaza protested Saturday in condemnation of the killing, intimidation, and displacement sustained by their Syrian counterparts. The solidarity protest, held at the Square of the Unknown Soldier in Gaza City's downtown, saw chants calling for the fall of the Syrian regime and the departure of Bashar al-Assad. Gaza's children raised banners deploring the murder of Syrian children with phrases including "I stand in solidarity with the children of Syria" and "the killing of children stigmatizes the regime". Also, they unified the pain of both nations' children carrying a sign stating: "Palestine and Syria wounds at the heart of a nation". The children told Palestinian news agency (Ma'an) that they stood in support of Syrian children, calling on al-Assad to step down.
