Georgia's Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze is set to arrive in Malaysia Monday on an official visit, a statement by Malaysia's foreign ministry said. Accompanied by a five-member delegation, Vashadze will hold talks with his Malaysian counterpart Anifah Aman to discuss issues of mutual concern and means of enhancing and strengthening bilateral relations. Trade between Malaysia and Georgia is minimal, but it saw an increase of 42.9 percent between January and April 2012, compared to the same period last year. Malaysia's exports to Georgia were recorded at RM27.07 million and imports, at RM8.44 million, Malaysia's official Bernama news agency reported.
