An Israeli Border Guard officer has been critically wounded after a Grad rocket fell near Ashkelon south of Palestine 48. According to Israeli newspaper (Maariv), Hamas fired 60 rockets aimed at Israeli targets in response to the Israeli raids on the Strip which yielded numerous casualties among them women and children. Israeli security forums have announced disinterest in escalation, the newspaper claimed.
