Six or seven gunshots were heard by journalists on Wednesday as police carried out a pre-dawn raid on a house where a self-declared Al-Qaeda member was holed up. The suspect is thought to be responsible for a series of shootings in recent days which left seven dead, including three Jewish schoolchildren, and was tracked down to a house in a residential district of Toulouse.
