Hamas' military wing said one of its fighters was accidentally killed late Friday while members of the group tried to disperse a clash between two clans in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood in Gaza City. The group said in a statement that 24-year-old Mumin Shamlakh was killed by a gunshot to the head during a clan clash. Police detained a suspect and opened an investigation, according to the statement. Medical spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra said a man in his 20s was pronounced dead at Dar al-Shifa Hospital.
