Head of Palestinian deposed government Ismail Haniyeh said that regional developments will be in favor of the Palestinian people, and called on Palestinians to be ready and come out of “frustration and despair.” Haniyeh stressed in the Friday sermon that the Israeli occupation has no future in Palestine because “Jerusalem and the Palestinian land are for the Palestinian people.” Commenting on his call for the permanent opening of Rafah border crossing, Haniyeh said he believes Egypt is considering it now. “We have not received anything official from the Egyptian government.”
