Two International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) service members died following an insurgent attack east Afghanistan Saturday, a statement by ISAF said. ISAF has not released any other information as its policy is to defer casualty identification procedures to the relevant national authorities. Five Afghan soldiers were killed during the past 24 hours in insurgent attacks, Afghan officials have also said. Furthermore, 260 NATO soldiers were killed this year, including 197 American, 28 British soldiers, and 35 from different NATO member countries.
