Iran's Embassy in Ankara, Turkey

Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned citizens of traveling to Turkey, until further notice.

Meanwhile, the Iranian embassy in Ankara announced that its consulates in Istanbul, Trabzon and Erzurum will scale down working hours to only two hours per day as of Monday.

The consulates will open door for Iranian nationals from 10 am to 12 pm daily, the Iranian news agency Fars reported on Saturday.

Iranian consulates in Turkey closed their doors on Wednesday and Thursday after the assassination of the Russian ambassador to Turkey.

Yet, the consulates reopened on Friday for two hours only.

Iran was among many countries that closed their consulates and issued travel warnings in the wake of assassinating the Russian ambassador in the Turkish capital.
