Iran\'s Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani and the Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday evening reviewed the prospect of regional developments. The two sides called for Tehran-Ankara close cooperation to help resolve complicated problems in the region, according to Iran\'s (IRNA) News Agency. During the meeting, Larijani underlined the need for further expansion of all-out bilateral relations, parliamentary cooperation in particular. He said Iran\'s parliament supports brotherly ties with Ankara. Commenting on the issue of NATO\'s missile defense settlement in the Turkish soil, Larijani hoped the issue would be solved through holding negotiations between Iran and Turkey. For his part, the Turkish premier termed his talks with the Iranian officials as constructive and said the existing relations between the two are rooted in their common religion and culture. Erdogan said his country is determined to further promote ties with Tehran.
