Iraq’s Vice President Khudayr Al-Khuzai met here on Tuesday with Iran’s Minister of Interior Mostafa Mohammad Najar. During the meeting, the Iranian minister conveyed an invitation to the Iraqi President Jalal Talabani from his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to participate in the Non-Aligned Movement Summit to be hosted by Tehran in August. In this regard, Al-Khuzai stressed the importance of the upcoming summit for discussing many important issues of the region. For his part, the Iranian Minister expressed his country’s keenness to further develop its relations with Iraq.
