Dar Al-Ifta's Islamophobia Observatory

Dar Al-Ifta's Islamophobia Observatory has lauded a decision by a British Muslim to donate ten tons of food to the homeless during the Christmas.

In a statement issued on Monday, the observatory urged repeating such initiatives which highlight the positiveness of the Muslims in interacting with their society and show that they are part and parcel of it.

The observatory stressed that these initiatives are more useful than surrendering to the attempts of isolating Muslims by the terrorist organizations or the groups which propagate for hatred towards Islam and Muslims.

The Muslims in British Whitechapel district organized a charity campaign to collect donations for the homeless; 90 percent of them are non-Muslims.

The organizers of the initiative underlined the importance of helping the poor during the Christmas regardless their religion, the statement read.
