Israeli authorities opened Thursday the Karem Abu Salem crossing to allow the entry of limited goods and aids into the Gaza Strip in addition to pumping limited amounts of cooking gas and Qatari industrial fuel which will be used to operate Gaza's power plant. Palestinian Authority's liaison official Raed Fattouh said that the occupation authorities opened the Karem Abu Salem crossing for the entry of 270 to 280 trucks loaded with aids for both commercial and agricultural sectors. The State of Qatar has agreed to supply the Gaza Strip, with 30 million liters of industrial fuel to operate the sole power plant in Gaza for two months.
