Israeli Air Force aircraft fired a rocket at an empty area in Deir al-Balah, southern Gaza Strip, early Monday without leaving casualties among the Palestinians. Israeli military sources said that the war jets carried out an air strike targeting a group of Palestinian resistance fighters, claiming that they were attempting to fire rockets into Israel. The aircrafts registered a direct hit against the Palestinian fighters, the sources added. After midnight, Israeli warplanes also struck twice Al Zeitoun neighborhood, Southern Gaza, without any injury report, Palestinian sources said.
