Israeli authorities on Wednesday detained six Palestinians in East Jerusalem who they say are affiliated to the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Israeli media reported. The group, from Isawiya neighborhood, were seized by police and internal security agency officials on suspicion of throwing stones at security forces and assaulting locals suspected of cooperating with Israeli authorities, The Jerusalem Post reported. Forces also confiscated a weapon and some ammunition during the raid, the report said. Israeli has occupied East Jerusalem since 1967.
