Israeli-occupation authorities decided to reopen the Karem Abu Salim commercial crossing in southeast Gaza Strip today (Thursday August 9, 2012) as usual. The chief of the Palestinian committee in charge of entry of goods into Gaza Strip, Raed Fattouh, explained in a statement today that 280 trucks laden with commercial, agrarian and transportation goods are expected to be allowed entry as well as pumping of only limited quantities of cooking gas . The occupation forces had opened the Karem Abu Salim commercial crossing on Wednesday, allowing the entry of 237 truckloads for all sectors.
